GeoSonics, Inc. a seismic consulting company is seeking a full-time Area Manager to join our team at our Cheshire, Connecticut location.
As an Area Manager with GeoSonics, Inc. you will be responsible for the management and day to day operations of the Connecticut field office.
This is an excellent opportunity for self-starters and offers on the job training to increase your knowledge and ability to manage a field office. It is a role that requires a blend of administrative, sales and project coordination skills.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop new clients and build positive relationships with existing clients
- Manage day to day activities of the office and field projects
- Dispatch and schedule Field Technicians to project sites throughout Cheshire and the surrounding areas
- Prepare project proposals and attend project meetings
- Provide technical and project management support for Field Technicians
- Review field data and review/write technical reports
- Interact with corporate office with submission of purchase requisitions, sales orders, expense reports and time sheets
- Conduct detailed inspections of homes, commercial buildings and other structures
- Perform on-site and remote seismograph monitoring
- Anticipate and act to maintain a safe environment and incorporate safety/risk management standards into daily work practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, Construction Management or related field
- 2-3 years experience in sales/management
- Experience with vibration, noise and geotechnical installations, measurements and analysis a plus
- Excellent communication and organization skills are essential, both written and verbal
